We provide visual inspection and color evaluation (ASTM D1500 / ISO 2211), which offer an initial indication of oil aging and contamination.
More critical assessments focus on the moisture content (IEC 60814) and Dissolved Gas Analysis (IEC 60567), both key in identifying early-stage thermal and electrical degradation within transformers and other high-voltage equipment.
We also measure the Dielectric Dissipation Factor and Relative Permittivity (IEC 60247), parameters that directly reflect the oil’s dielectric efficiency.
These services are fully integrated with Brizio Basi’s proprietary vacuum-based oil treatment systems.
Our systems ensure optimal oil regeneration by combining magnetic pre-filtration, low specific-heat electrical heating, thin-layer vacuum degassing on Raschig rings, and final micrometric filtration. This cycle is repeated as needed until the oil reaches the desired performance parameters.
