The increasing attention on the energy transition, particularly in the electrical sector, has push for searching new technologies characterized by the so-called net-zero approach. These technologies, integrated within a coordinated approach, are essential for achieving decarbonization and sustainability goals in the electrical sector.
At Getra75, event held on October 31st to celebrate Getra Spa’s 75th anniversary, Adolfo Urso, the Italian Minister of Economic Development, emphasized Europe’s NetZero objectives and the crucial role of innovation in the energy sector. Brizio Basi is proud to contribute to these goals with our advanced technologies for transformer production.
For electric field BRIZIO BASI manufactures systems for the treatment of various oils: the heated oil reaches the degassing tower, where it is vacuum-laminated into a thin layer by dispersing over raschig rings. This process enables the vacuum to extract moisture and other volatile substances from the oil.
Our technologies are essential to building high-performance power and distribution transformers, ensuring quality, durability, and environmental responsibility.
We also provide an on-going support to our customers: for example in electric field we deal with maintenance of Dielectric Oil Treatment plants (DOV). These systems are essential for the drying, filling, and vacuum treatment of dielectric oil, which is used in 90% of distribution and power transformers.
DOV systems are crucial for the production, installation, and maintenance of electrical transformers: Getra S.p.A. has around 10 of these units in operation.
Through the collaboration with clients like Getra Spa, Brizio Basi plays an active role in supporting sustainable energy advancements, aligning with the ambitious Net Zero targets for a more sustainable future.
