In high-voltage applications, maintaining vacuum conditions during the production of transformers, motors, and insulating components is essential for achieving high-quality and a safe power supply for the end user. We design and produce plants for transformer construction, electric motors, auxiliary systems for submarine power lines, vacuum and filling systems, and SF6 leak detection for gas-insulated electrical switches.

Our impregnation plants feature an integrated stator capacitance measurement system that monitors impregnation quality, optimizes cycle efficiency, and reduces downtime, meeting the demanding standards of the electrical industry.

We recently delivered another impregnation plant for Nidec Monfalcone: a plant for impregnation of large engines with epoxy resin. This achievement follows the well-established long-term relationship with Nidec.

Brizio Basi formerly implemented for NIDEC ASI site in Monfalcone (Italy) one of the biggest impregnation plants for electric motors ever made in Europe with insulating resin, come into operation in 2023. The VPI (vacuum pressure impregnation) plant has a 5 meters internal usable diameter for a 6 meters effective depth and can impregnate electric stators and rotors with weights up to 80 Tons.
